alison & patrick: O Perfect Love

Love is the beauty of the soul. Saint Augustine
Patrick, swearing to begin his lifelong romance with Alison, our best friend. Two souls with a single thought, two hearts then beat as one.
It is always our greatest pleasure to take prewedding photos for our best friends. Our blessings for the married couple will never end. God please grant them the joy which brightens earthly sorrows, and grant them the peace which calms all earthly strife. (from "O Perfect Love")

sumsum: sweet dream

It's such a big joy to see my little niece grows up day by day. When I saw my cousin pampering her little angel during her nap, the tenderless moved me so much and I couldn't help pressing my shutter to capture this beautiful moments. Hope you like these piece of works too. :)

sumyee: girl makeup

Another portrait + product shooting, try to keep things bright, clean and minimal, done with a simple studio set-up at home, where I can always have lots of natural lights. As requested by Sumyee, NO touch-up on skin / face features was done.

patricia: girls day out

Happy to be given chances to help on this "fake-snapshot", that I have been longing to give a try, and to enjoy a cool day-out in the Mid-levels with my dear friend Patricia (not to mention how nice the caramel and sea-salt ice-cream was...). Oh I love city snaps for cool girls! Any other model available?

For details of this shooting project please see here.

puiyee and jon part 2: the simplest

001

It has been more than a month since we have get married, time flies, it does. Good that I can still share my DIY pre-wedding photos here to make myself feeling I'm still a newlywed! :)

002

We want nothing else in the photos, no jewelery, no fancy makeups, no beautiful heritage, but just the two of us in our newly established home-sweet-home, in the simplest and cleanest way.
  003

Ok I still got some props, a bunch of fresh petite roses bought from the wet market next door.
  004

007

so we posed and posed and posed in front of a big mirror, made lots of fun, did lots of real hugs and kisses, and got our favorite pieces.

patricia: date at cafe

pat

Photo-taking for my beloved pretty girl friend Patricia at cafe in a sunny afternoon (plus a real joyful afternoon tea date), cup cakes are so adorable and match so well with her manicure. :)

Shooting indoor without lighting setup isn't easy, outcomes could be so bad if natural lights from outside is not sufficient, but still it's what I always love most / desperate to give a try whenever possible, only natural lights can give a true relaxing mood that you can experience in a cafe.
